Abstract

Disruption-tolerant network (DTN) technologies are promising solutions that allows wireless
devices which are carried by soldiers in military to interact with each other and access the
confidential information by external storage nodes. The most challenging issues in Disruption
Tolerant Network are the enforcement of authorization policies and information retrieval by
soldiers. In this paper, we analyzed various data retrieval schemes based on encryption and
decryption methods, their merits and demerits, that consist of Attribute based encryption (ABE),
KP-ABE, CP-ABE, ABE with non-monotonic access structure, MA-ABE, Proxy re-encryption
CPABE,CPABE with Revocation. Based on efficiency, computational overhead, fine grained access
control and collusion resistant, the ABE schemes can be classified.
Keywords: Attribute Based Encryption (ABE), Cipher text Policy-Attribute Based Encryption
(CP-ABE), Revocable Multiauthority Ciphertext Policy-Attribute Based Encryption (CPABE-R).
